BioTime for another update...
My name is Jeff and I am a 37 year old gay white male living with my significant other, Eric in upstate NY.
In 2003 I was declared legally blind. I have retinitis pigmentosa - its the break down of the photo recepter cells in the retina. As a result, I do not have peripheral vision. My central vision is fine though. I work for my parents part time.
In my spare time, I write. I completed my first novel in December of 2004 and currently have two other projects that I've been working on. My goal is to get one of them published by mid 2006. Many of the communities I belong to are writing groups. In addition to this journal, I have another one that is strictly writing only. That one is an invite only. I decided to do it that way to protect myself and my work.
I swear and curse a lot - if foul language offends you, this ain't the journal to be reading. I also tend to get very passionate about things that matter to me and I will express my opinions. You may not agree with them - and I respect that - BUT I will not tolerate someone coming into my own personal journal and attacking me on my beliefs.
I don't mind it if people add me as a friend. I'm not uptight and demand people ask permission. Most likely, I'll add you to my friends list as well. :)
